MONOPOLY PC GAME 1991 WINDOWS
This is the Windows version of Risk, first published by Virgin for PC in 1989 for DOS. You can even change players between computer and human in the middle of the game. Computer players have three different skill levels, which you can change during the game. All the rules of the board game are here, including trading in Risk cards and rolling dice. Two to six human and/or computer players attempt to conquer the world with their armies. The Computer Edition of Risk is an official conversion of the classic Parker Brothers board game. The Windows version features a single-screen global map as well as support for VGA graphics and Sound Blaster cards. The first to accomplish the objective(s) is declared the winner. Missions and headquarters assignments are randomly dealt to players before the game begins. Long games are structured similarly to the board game, while short games involve completing secret missions (U.K.) or conquering a rival's headquarters (U.S.). Both long and short games are supported with a choice of U.S. The object is simple: eliminate all opponents by occupying every territory on the global map. Up to six players, computer or human, alternate turns acquiring and defending 42 territories spread across six continents.
